Considerable surprise is experienced irt Rugby circles at the cabled statement- that the All Blacks, although arranging to play a match in Melbourne en route to. South Africa refuse to play a match in Sydney. Rugby officials state they cannot understand the attitude adopted by the Dominion in view of the particularly friendly relations between New Zealand and New South Wales.—U.P.A.
