NEW YORK’S GREAT TUBES. NEW YORK, Nov. U. New York’s greatest vehicular tunnel, 9200 feet long, running 72 feet below tho Hunson River, has been opened after seven years’ construction work. It has two tubes, each 20 feet wide, with a capacity of JOCO motor cars an hour, the toll being 50 cents (2s Id) each. Sydney’s harbor bridge will have a capacity of 0000 ears an hour. Jt will carry six lines of motor traffic, as well as four lines, of railway, and two of pedestrian traffic. The bridge will bo T OSO foot long and 170 feet above tlie water. Sydney ' Femes' biggest ferry punts can accommodate 54 ears ..each, and in rusji hours, leaves about evcrv. six minutes—or 540 carsi an hour.- The fare is Is each.
