BOROUGH BUS DRIVERS.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—Re Mr Vosper’s complaint re engagement as driver, it appears to me a local man, ratepayer and resident of long-standing, with a family of six, steady and competent, has little chance of getting a job here-. , I heard of one such as the above, who was turned down', and a limn with no family and his wife working and new arrivals, got a job over the head of the family ratepayer. This should not he. and I 'hope those in authority will see that it does not haprou again. In future it would s<‘em that “no. locals need ap-ply.”-—1 am, yours etc.. RATEPAYER
