WELLINGTON, Oct. 19 The N.Z. Baptist Church Union conference was continued to-day The election of officers resulted: — Vice-president (president electedi, Mr S. Resolutions were carried unanimouslv in Javor of the Bible in Schools Bill, and tho League of Nations, supporting the Auckland Presbytery in its opposition to the Magistrate .in the Richards concientious objector case, and urging the Government to reduce its military activities and urging the desirability of the abolition of compulsory military training in favor of a system of compulsory 'military training unassociated witli war.—P.A.
