COUNTY FOOTBALL CLUB. (Special to the Times) TOLAGA BAY, April 5. The annual meeting of the Tolaga Bay County Football Club was held on'March 27, when there was a good attendance. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr. Miha Crawford; vicepresidents, Messrs. F. J. Williams, W. Lockwood senr.> J* B. Morris, J. D. G. Thornton, B. Sanford, S. Morris, Itopihana Hautapu, It. G. Jellie; chairman, Mr. Hura Marino; secretary, Mr C- Hindmarsh; delegates, Messrs. G. S. McCreedy and G. A. Neill; treasurers, Messrs. H. Marino and CL Hindmarsh; captain, Mr W. Lockwood jnr.; vice-captain, Mr. A. Crawford; junior captain, Mr. S. Rangi; junior vice-captain, Mr. M. Rangi; selectors, Messrs P. Komam and M. Barber; managing committee, all members of both clubs. The financial statement of the club shows a credit balance of £l4 15s, which is considered most satisfactory. All playing members are earnestly requested to commence training immediately. RESULTS GF DOG TRIALS. The annual trials of the Tolaga Bay Dog Trials Club was held on Mangaheia Station on March 31 and April 1 and 2. There was a fairly largo attendance each day, and keen interest was taken in the trials. On Friday night a dance was held in the Mangaheia woolshed, when there was a good attendance, and a very enjoyable evening was spent. During an interval at the dance a presentation in the fojrm of a silver entree dish was made to the judge, Mr. A. Anderson, by the president of the club, Mr. J. S. Paterson, as a token of appreciation of services rendered to the club. Air. Anderson suitably responded. The management committee desires to express their thanks to the following: The ladies who provided luncheon and morning and afternoon teas on each day of the trials; Mr. P. Callaghan for the use of the grounds; Mr. it. Frail] for the use of sheep; and Mr. O. G. James for the use of his truck for carting, etc. The following were the results of the trials :

Class 1, head, pull and yard (total 50pts.).—Mr E. Dover’s Mack 41pts. 1; Mr. Augouri’s Sharp, 3Spts. 2: Mr. G. Jobson’s Nell, 37pts. 3; Mr. E'. Dever’s Ben 36pts. 4. Class 2, zig-zag liuntaway between three sets of flags (total 45pts.).— J. T: Dunlop’s Don 43pts. 1; Mr. E. Neel’s Lid 40pts. 2; Mr. ,1. A. Macintosh’s Boy 38pts. 3; Mr. H. Gordon’s Con 37pts. 4. Class 3 hunt to given point, bring back and yard (total 4Upts.).—Mr. H. Gordon’s C'on 36pts. 1; Mr. K. Mclntosh’s Jock 34pts. 2; Mr. C. Cleary’s Ben 31pts. 3; Mr. K. McIntosh’s Don 29pcs. 4. Special pmes.—Loisel Cup for champion dog: Mr. 11. Gordon’s Con; Reynolds’ Memorial Challenge Cup and gold, medal for best team ot three .dogs, Mr. H. Gordon’s Con, Bluff, and Mac; Wheeler Cup for best team of two dogs one in class 1 and one in class 2 or 3, Mr. It. McIntosh’s Jock and Don; Murphy Cup for competitor scoring most points at the trials, Mr. H. Gordon; Good’s Cup (junior) for youngest shepherd under 23 scoring most points, Mr. Evan Oraill; prize £2 2s donated by W. Garrcll Esq. for best team of three dogs, Mr. H. Gordon’s Con, Bluff and Mac; prize £1 Is donated by W. Parkes Esq. for bcardy dog scoring most points, Mr. J A. McIntosh’s Boy; prize £2 2s donated by J. S Paterson Esq. for competitor scoring most points, Mr. H. Gordon; prize £1 Is donated by J. R. Lincoln E'sq. for best maiden dog in class 2, ’ Mr. JG. Neel’s 'Lid; prize £1 Is donated by P.
