A sensation has been caused in racing circles through Dr. Syme, who is one of the most influential supporters of the turf, and who races under the name of ‘‘Mr. Rawdon,” deciding to sell the whole of his horses now in training. This action follotvs his recent defeat for a seat on the Victorian Arateur Turf Club Committee, on Which lie had sat for years. He scratched all his horses for last Saturday's Caulfield meeting, and is report-d to have declared that he will never again race at Caulfield.
