“A NOTORIOUS LIAR.”
PROBATION FOR THEFT AND FALSE PRETENCES,
AUCKLAND, Oct. 14. Aluriel Forbes Reid, aged 27, who was described as a notorious liar when she appeared in the Police Court on Alonday in answer to charges ot theft and false pretences, was today placed on five years’ probation, on condition that she remain for a time in the care of the Salvation Army. The children will be committed to a home.—P.A.
