LONDON, April 12. In the international Rugbv League game England defeated Wales by 30 points to 22.—Reuter.
(Received April 13, 9.25 p.m.) LONDON, April 12. The England v Wales Rugb-v leaeue match was played at Pontvgridd. The weather was .beautiful and there was' an attendance of 23,000. An exhilarating game in : the first half .whs marked by frequent spectacular bouts of short passing. At the interval England had 19 points to Wales’ 13. On resumption Wales lost Jones, of Leeds
who was injured, while nearing the end Hodden. of Wigan, was carried off. England had the advantage in heeling from scrums, ancl scored through Carr (2), Taylor (2), Gallagher (1), Rix, Beatham and Burgess, the last-named converting three tries. For Wales, Rosser, Bacon, Morban, F. Evans Fowler and Sullivan scored, the last-named converting two.- Reuter.
