SUMMER SCHOOL
TEACHERS ACCLAIM SCHEME. “HIGHLY INSTRUCTIVE AND CULTURAL.” CAMBRIDGE. Jan. 26. Teachers attending ; the Summer Sehool discussed it in all its aspects. The whole body of teachers; * representative of- practically all the 'pro:, vinces, was unanimously, enthusiastic concerning the immeasurable - value of the highly-instructive and cultural course. -All stated they would" go back, to their schools with a broader vision of the value of their work. All showed an earnest desire to have the movement continued, and to that end the teachers will return to- their homes as mission aides. , ■
It was felt the aims of the school Suit being the stimulation of public interest in education. Mr F< Millar, Rector of the Waitaki Boys’ High School, was unanimously appointed President of the next school. Mr Caughley, Director of Education, will attend the school to-mor-row, and the sessions will conclude on Wednesday night.
