BONDS VALUED AT £700,000 STOLEN.
LONDON, Jan. 21., Continental train robbers made a sensational coup. They opened a specially made trunk and extricated £700,000 worth of Latvian bearerbonds, consigned to a London bank. British and Continental police are endeavoiing to trace the bonds, giving special attention to the I ans Bourse, but for the present there has been no attempt to sell the bonds, leading to the belief that tho thieves, fearing detection, may have destroyed them. , Several London underwriters are faced with a loss of £60,000 each if the bonds are not recovered.—bun.
