YOUNG MAN TO BE TREED
An attempt to break and enter the Waiapu Farmers’ store at Waiomata-’-‘ifim in November last was recalled at the sitting of the Police Court at Pokomaru Bay when Arthur Robinson, with several aliases, aged -34, was charged with that offence. ft is alleged that some Natives saw Robiiwin in the vicinity of the store for three days, and one night, after an attempt had been made to force an entrance to the premises, Robinson disappeared A screw driver was subsequently found' under the store floor, and the marks on the door of the store were said to be identical -with those a screw-driver would make. Accused pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court at for trial..
