STORM AT SAMOA
PAGOPAGO BAY COVERED WITH
WRECKAGE,
(Received Jan. 3, 11.50 p m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 2. American Samoa was struck on Friday by the most severe storm experienced for more than twenty years. Pagopago Bay is covered with much wreckage, including debris from several buildings. Several are slightly injured. The water system and power lines arc considerably damaged/—A. and N.Z.C.A.
