WELLINGTON LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP. WELLINGTON, Oct. 28. Exciting finishes were witnessed in the semi-fiiwls tor the lades’ provincial golf tournament. The hostmatch of the d'av was that between Miss Gambrill and Miss Jervis, won by the latter at the 19th. ' Following arc the results: Miss Jerv's beat Mrs.' Withers, 2 up; Miss Gambr'll beat Mrs. Spiers, 3 and 2 ; Miss Cato beat Mrs. Weston, 2 and 1; Miss 'Chry stall beat Miss Watson, 3 and 2. . , Semi-finals.—Miss Jervis (Hutt) beat Miss Gambrill, 1 up ; Miss vlirystall (Christchurch) beat Miss Cato (Napieifi. 6 and 5. . , TT .
