HOSPITAL BALL
N.9.W. FOOTBALLERS TO BE PRESENT. The Hospital Ball Committee met yesterday afternoon in tho Cook County Council Chambers. The* ladies’ committee reported that all arrangements had been mado for a most successful function, and supper arrangements were well in hand. It is intended to have two corners of the hall set apart for those who do not wish to dance. The music to bo supplied will fie all that can he desired by dancing enthusiasts. The thirty-one members of the New South Wales Rugby team will lie present. Everything is arranged for a most successful function, and a good floor and no one should have any cause for complaint in that directionIt is fu’ly expected that a record crowd will lie present. The proceeds are to bo d stributed equally between the Plunket Society to augment their funds, which is a very deserving object, and the Memorial Home to provide comforts for the inmates.
