NOTES The Wainui arrived from Nnp’er on Saturday morning, and was tendered with one launch for inward and outward passengers at 6.30 a m., the vessel proceeding later to Auckland, via Tokomaru Bay. Tho Kaliika left Duned n at 11 p.m. on Friday for Oaniaru, Timaru. Lyttelton, Napier thence Gisborne, where she is due the latter end of til's week. The Ngakuta wi'l be loading at Westport about the middle of this week for Gisborne. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise the Turak'na. Ruahine and Hororatn will be loading frozen meat and general cargo here at an early date.

The Federal Steam Navigation Co. advise that the Dorset and Leitrim are expected to load frozen meat and general cargo for West Coast of United Kingdom ports and U.S'.A. shortly, also that the Otaki sailed from ‘ Liverpool on August 29 #for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, and is duo at Auckland approximately October 10. The Putiki arrived from Wellington via Napier on Saturday morn.ng, and returned to Wellington at six o’clock that evening. The Koau arrived from Waikokony on Saturday, and sails this evening for Napier. The Awahou is expected to leave Auckland to-morrow for Gisborne direct, and is due here on Thursday. The Parera is due 1 to clear Auckland for the Coast and Gisborne to-mor-row. and arrives at this port about Fr'dav next. The Tlroa arrived at Auckland from the Coast and Gisborne yesterday evening, and departs again early in'the week for this port, via the Coast bays. The Elsie Alary, now discharging t’mher at the wharf, is expected to sail with general cargo for Auckland about the middle of this week.
