At cricket, Somerset, in tlie first innings, made 235 (Lyons 28), and 111 the second 147 (Young 54; Macaulay 6 for 45). Yorkshire, in the first innings, made 362 (Holmes 90, Oldroyd 62. Leyland 53; White 5 for 82) in the second 22 for 0 wickets. Yorkshire won by ten wickets.
