NEW YORK, July 30. Another sensational robbery was staged in Chicago. Four bandits entered the lobby of the fashionable Drake Hotel, brandishing revolvers. They ordered the guests to stand against the wall, extracted ten thousand dollars from the cashier’s desk, andi fled.

A police squad, who had been warned by automatic alarm, were awaiting the robbers in the street. They gave chase in a motor-car through four miles of crowded streets, and finally cornered the bandits.

A fight followed in which two robbers were shot dead. One was wounded and the fourth escaped.
