ST. DAVID’S CHURCH
ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of St. David’s Presbyterian Church was held on Thursday evening. The Moderator, the Rev. James Aitkeu, presided. The session report was of a veryon t-ou raging nature, and showed that the various activities of the church were well maintained owing to the growing: number of Sunday school scholars, more teachers were required Special mention was made of the helpful efforts of the lay -eachers. The financial statement ' ‘as considered veery satisfactory. All liabilitieshad been met in spite of a decreased grant from the home mission fond. Substantial amounts had been .‘pent in enlarging the building and fencing the property:. The resident missionary, Mr. A. H. Norrie, referred to the fine spi'it of co-operation in the hureh work. The old committee was io-elcctcd.
During the evening songs were contributed hv Mesdames Holmes ?nd Stuart and Miss R. Holmes. A presentation of a set of Doniton jugs was made to the organist, Miss Batv. Refreshments were at the close by the ladies.-
