PROPOSAL THAT EVERY CHILD SHOULD BT OPTICALLY EXAMINED.
“I look forward to tho timo when every city and authority in the country will do what Bradford docs, and sec to it that the eyes of every child born are examined by a competent medical man.
■So said Mr W. H. Dixon in his presidential address at the fourth annual Conference of the National Union _ of tho Professional and Industrial Blind of Great Britain and Ireland,. They were not going to get very 'far towards the prevention of the greatest cause of blindness until every man and woman tried to lead a decent Ufe, he added.
