CHOLERA AND FLOOD
TERRIBLE PLIGHT OF SOUTHERN INDIA. WATERS STILL RASING. DELHI. -July 29. Cholera has broken out in the vast flooded areas in southern India. The waters are still rising. Heart-rending reports are filtering in front isolated districts. The floods cut <jS the Bangalore light supply. Officials in Mysore State and British India are taking active measures to succour many thousands of homeless people who are on the brink of starvation.—Sun Cable.
JINXING MILL COLLAPSES. TWENTY-FIVE INJURED: MANY BENEATH DEBRIS. DELHI, July 29. It is reported from A lime-dab a that apparently as a consequence of the rains a portion of the jlnning mill collapsed. Twenty-five persons were sent to hospital. It is believed sixty are still beneath the debris.- —Sun.
