OBJECTION TO PICTURE OF LADY ASIDE.
LONDON, July 29
The unveiling in the House of Commons’ corridor of a picture of Lady Astor’s introduction to the House has aroused the liveliest opposition. A large petition is being signed, urging the Speaker not to permit the hanging of portraits of living members without the sense of the House being taken. —A. and N.Z.C.A.
