At the King’s levee, at St. James’ Palace, there was a large attendance, mainly of diplomats and officials. The customary State ceremonial was observed.

It is announced that the Postmas-ter-General has decided to appoint a committee under the chairmanship of Mr Donald to advise specific improvements in the business organisation of the Post Office, which was strongly urged by the last Donald Committee.
