LABOR OF CHILDREN. TAXATION REDUCTION. (Received June 3. 10.45 p.m.) .WASHINGTON. June 2. Tho Senate approved a Constitutional amendment empowering the Federal Government to limit, regulate and prohibit the labor of children under eighteen years, already approved by the House. It now goes to the States for ratification. Air Coelidge signed the tax ’eduction hill which reduces the levy -of the Federal Government on almost- every taxpayer and especially benefits those with small taxable incomes. It reduces bv 25 per cent, the taxes on 1923 incomes payable in a year. More than a score of excise and miscellaneous taxes have been repealed thirty davs.—Reuter.
