RECENT FOOT AND MOUTH OUTBREAK IN ENGLAND.
OYER £3,000,000 PAYABLE IN COMPENSATION.
LONDON, May 6
In the House of Commons Mr Buxton announced that 3060 cases of foot and mouth disease had been reported since August. Thirty-nine English Counties were affected, eleven Scottish, and two Welsh, resulting in the slaughter of 103,13 S cattle, 42,9u9 sheep, and 47,693 pigs.
