(To the Editor.) Sir —Seeing that the Gisborne Harbor Board is spending a large amount of money on harbor improvements just now and that the work et of the port has to be carried on ivlme those improvements _ arc being carried out, f would like to ask this question: Ms it not tho duty of sonic or" the officials of the Board to see that tho electric light globes that exist in the sheds are at least cleaned once in a while so that the employees can carry out their work of sorting the inward and outward cargo with efficiency?” Trusting that tins matter will be attended to without further waste of ink and paper.— 1 am, Yours etc., RAISON D’ETRE.
