CHINESE PIRATES.
FORTY PASSENGERS KIDNAPPED
HONG KONG, May 5. A Portuguese captain and Indian guard in a motor-boat going to Ivongmuon from Canton were shot dead by pirates disguised as passengers at midnight on May Ist. The pirates kidnapped forty passengers after looting the vessel.—A., and N.Z.C.A.
Passenger motor boat SKIPPER KILLED. (Received Mav 6. 5.5 p.m.) HONG' KONG. -May 5. The passenger motor boat Oporto, sailing to Canton from Kongmoon, was seized by pirates who killed the Portuguese skipper, Indian guard and kidnappeu fortv passengers.-—A. and N.Z.C.A.
