The Bank of New Zealand advises the receipt of the following cable from their London office: “Wethers light 6£d to 7cl; heavy 5d to 6-£d; little bettor demand; ewes 4£d to sjjd, market weaker; lamb, u/42, 9:id to 9ifd, seconds 9ld to 93d; market improved, demand likely to continue. No quotations for beef.” TALLOW MARKET. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 30th April, 1924: Tallow: Wo quote present spot values for the following descriptions of tallow: Fine mutton, 45s 9d per ewt; good beef, 43s per cwt.; mixed 395; market quiet.
