LAST NIGHT OF “THE SOUL OF A BEAST,” AND' “SECONDHAND LOVE.”

‘The Soul of a Beast,” a master picture, with. Madge Bellamy, Cullen Landis and “O'scar,” the baby elephant as the stars, and “Secondhand Love,” with Charles Jones as the star, are proving highly popular at Everybody’s Theatre, These features and the supporting programme will he finally shown to-night. Katherine MacDonald in “Refuge” and “The Lights of New York,” the latter a William Fox special, are the outstanding features at to-morrow’s matinee. “Lights of New York” is a visualisation of everyday life in the Metropolis. All the glitter and glamour of New York, the bright ligiTcs of Broadway, which cast sinister shadows along the narrow side streets leading from the Fifth Avenue, Wall Street, which starts at a graveyard and ends in the river; and the dull, threatening lights of the Bowery, all tell their tales cf joys and tribulations in this new William Fox special production. A capable cast of screen artists will he seen in the numerous imporant roles in the production, including Marc MacDermott. Katherine MacDonald is noted for her magnificent gowns. In “Refuge” her role as a countess gives her the opportunity to display a large number of fashionable “creations.” “Refuge” is a First National attraction. The Mermaid comedy, “Three Strikes,” and picked support will also be shown.
