EVIDENCE AT INQUIRY. (Received Jnlv 27. 9.40 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 27. Evidence at the Sumatra inquiry was given mostly hy former captains, officers and dock officials, and showed that they considered her a good vessel and in good repair. She was well found and the wireless was in proper condition when she left on the fatal voyage. after a thorough overhaul at Sydney.—lLlYA. Later.
