CONTROL OF BROADCASTING. MELBOURNE, July 26. Tho Federal Ministry lias decided to dismiss the Commonwealth Trade Commissioner in the East and his staff, also to close the offico in Shanghai. Mr E. T. Sheaf, who was appointed at tho Premiers’ Conference to represent tho Commonwealth and States, is not affected. It is understood the Ministry proposes to assist trade with tho East bv shipping subsidies. The Executive Council approved ol regulations controlling broadcasting, framed mainly on recommendations ot the recent conference. The new amendments will bo announced' by jihe Postmaster-General in a few days.— LLP. A. '
