ACCUSED COAL ACTED FOR SENTENC'D.. / MASTERTON, Nil - 95. Thomas Riqhard -Southall, forme. !v officer for tiie Repatriation Department in Masterton, was charged at the Masterton Police Court to-day, before Mr. Free, S.M., for offences as follows: (1) With having, on divers dates between 14th December, 1920, and 17tli October, 1922,,-committed theft of a total sum of £483 7s Gd, the property of the New Zealand Government; (2) having on 7th March forged the name of Walter Rowland Walker to a furniture loan voucher; (3) having on 7th A mil tforged the name of W. R. Walker to another voucher. Accused pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence at . the Supreme Court at Wellington. —P.A V:
