MYSTERIOUS DEATH.
DOCTORS CANNOT STATE CAUSE. BODY IN THAMES. LONDON, Feb. 21. Alysterious circumstances surround the * death of Mr William Clark, a wealthy estate agent, of Alanor Park, whose body was found in the Thames near Purfleet. It had been in the river for from four to six weeks. Doctors found there was no water in tlie lungs, and concluded that Clark was dead before be reached the water hut were unable to state the cause ol death. Several rings had been takenfrom the body: . The jury returned an open verdict,, urging that the police should investigate “an extraordinarily mysterious, case.”
