(Received Feb. 26, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, Feb. 25. Landru was executed this morning at 'Versailles. He passed a restless night but was soxuid asleep when the governor entered his cell at 5.45. He dressed quietly and refused the chaplain's administrations. He- said: “I repeat I am innocent.” He then walked the few yards to the scaffold. Only officials and pressmen were present. The streets leading to tlie scene were barricaded.—A. and N.Z C.A. ' #
