PEKING, Feb. 23. The wife of a Dr Howard Taylor, a British missionary, apealed to the British Minister to save her husband who is Held a prisoner by bandits in Northern Yunnan. Mrs Taylor herself was captured but released with instructions to demand twenty thousand dollars ransom from friends. HOME METAL MARKET. LONDON, Feb. 24.
