FOUND DEAD. PAHIATUA, December 23. Samuel Scott, aged 78, >vas found dead in Ins whare at M-angamutu yesterday. He had no relatives in the Dominion. hie was over 30 years in. the district. KILLED BY LORRYHAMILTON, December 23. Herbert Edward Mote.rshaw, aged 8, when attempting to mount a motor lorry fell. A wheel passed over his head, and he was killed instantly. BOY DROWNED HAMILTON, December 25. A Maori boy named Hikarate was drowned while bathing at Ngaruawahia. MISSING MAN FOUND IN RIVER. AUCKLAND, December 28. The dead body of Arthur Taylor, missing at Riverhead, has been found in the river. FOUND DEAD WITH THROAT CUT DUNEDIN, December 28. The police have been advised that Reuben Smith, laborer, aged 20, was found dead at Becks, with his throat cut, and a. bloodstained razor at his side. —P.A. KICKED BY A STALLION. A kick from the stallion, Glen Fabric, on Christmas Eve, resulted in the death the same evening of Mr Alexander Davison. The deceased was a widower, 6S war of age, and a farmer at Eiffelton.
