PLAGUE IN QUEENSLAND.

TWO ADDITIONAL CASES

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WANTS' SERUM.

(United Frees Association—Copyright.) (Received Oct. 7, 9.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, Oct. 7. Two additional cases of plague are reported, one at Roeklea and the other at Townsville. The Home Secretary announced that the Commonwealth Government was without supplies of plague curative serum. It had applied to the State authorities for cultures of local cases from which to manufacture serum. It is assumed, therefore, that the cases which have already occurred had not been treated with serum.—U.P.A.
