FARMER EXPIRES IN STREET
WELLINGTON, Oct 7. A retired farmer named. Thomas Wm. Stace, aged 73, expired suddenly on Kelburn avenue this evening ' while wheeling .an invalid daughter in a bath chair. He is believed to have had heart affection for 'Some time. —P.A.
WOMAN LIES IN TRAIN. PALMERSTON N Oct. 7An elderly woman, Mrsi Hannah Rogers, belonging to New Plymouth who had been on a visß to CanterW, died in the Wellington-New Plymouth mail train this afternoon. Her body was removed to the Palmerston morgue and an inquest wi be held. She was accompanied by her son.—P.A. Prompt settlement on the spot.
