The Daily Express Cairlokh correspondent states that a definite acceptance or rejection of the Government terms is expected to reach Mr Lloyd George’s hands on Friday. Mr Boland and Mr McGrath had an hour’s interview with Mr Lloyd George, who had spent the morning fishing. ‘He caught a ten pound trout and then went for a walk in the direction of Messrs Boland and McGrath, whom he had expected and Was hoping to meet the Sinn Fein delegates on the road, possibly in order to display the trout. At any rate he missed them. They had travelled thirty-four hours without sleep. After the interview they immediately started on an eighty miles motor car journey at night across the desolate highlands in order to reach Dublin in time for the Dail Eireann meeting on Wed-1 nesday, at which the answer will fin-*! ally be considered. —A. and N.Z.C.A.
