CHILD PUZZLES DOCTORS.

REVERSION OF HABITS

To sleep during the day and bo awake all night is the freak of a seveit-year-old girl which is puzzling Dundee doctors.

It is stated that she lias had this peculiarity for more than two years. She plays with her toys and has her meals during the night and sleeps at school. Latterly the teacher has provided her with a pillow. A Harley Street specialist .states that this was quite possibly the result of a- bad habit during the girl’s extreme youth. , “This peculiar reversion of night habits to-day,” lie said, “is often noticeable in tlie nursing profession. Night nurses develop something of the same habit, which it is very difficult for them to break, f T.n the case of this child neurosis is probably the cause, and the sleep which the girl takes in the day-time may be akin to a trance-like condition. It is obviously a case worth, medical investigation.”
