WRECKAGE FOUND.
WASHED ASHORE NEAR NEW PLYMOUTH.
NEW. PLYMOUTH July Wreckage Has been washed on the beach near New Plymouth Alarg piece of decking has been found appeared to come from the star board bow of a vessel M fair, size. The niece measured wn. by loft and was fixed to a number of 10 inci L b y 10 inch beams and there were othe beams and deck planking scattered along the beach within about 100 yards where the large piece of wreckage was found The wood was Oregon and the planking uas fixed to the beams by galvanise<l 9 inches long and half inch square. No marks are visible on any of the material found that would „i ve any indication as to identity. Thise who examined the estimate that it had not been in the water longer than six oi seven weeks.—P.A. .
