HAS TIFLIS FALLEN?

TURKS’. ALARMING REPORT

BOLSHEVISTS DEMORALISE GEORGIAN ARMY.

ANARCHY AND PILLAGE RAMPANT. (Received March 1, 11 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 28-

Reports as to the position at Tiflis are conflicting. Georgian Government telegrams state that it has not fallen. A Constantinople correspondent states that anarchy and pillage are rampant in Tiflis, due to the Bolshevik agents demoralising the Georgian army which, later, melted away, allowing the Bolshevik army to capture the town without resistance. Another Bolshevik army is marching upon Battoum, on which a Turkish army are also marching. The Moslem population will certainly support the latter.—Times.
