BOLSHEVIK FORCES MARCHING ONWARDS. ENVER PASHA APPOINTED COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF. PARIS, Sept. S. It is reported from Moscow thatEnver Pasha, at the request of Lenin' and Trotskv, has been appointed commander-in-chief of the Bolshevist forces which are marching on India. Bolshevist forces in the Caucasus, Persia, Afghanistan and Turkistan have been placed under his command. Enver Pasha recently sojourned at the Bolshevist headquarters in Smolensk with Trotsky. French diplomatic circles consider the jfrincipal aim of the manoeuvre is to compel Britain to make peace with Russia quickly.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
