RUSSIAN INDUSTRY.
WORKERS’ OUTPUT AMAZINGLY LOW. IMPORTATION OF FOREIGN WORKMEN SUGGESTED. STOCKHOLM. Sept. 7. A member of the delegation of Swedish metal workers who visited Russia states that monstrous disorder exists in Russian industrial life. The workers’ output is amazingly low. Swedish workmen are capable of a ten-fold greater output than the Russians, who are unpractical and had organisers. They must avail themselves of the services, of foreign organisers if they would revive Russian industry. The delegation submitted a plan ot the Soviet Government for obtaining skilled foreign workmen.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
