N.Z. WOOL IN LONDON.
REPRESENTATION OF GROWERS WELLINGTON, Sept. 9. A question touching the representation of New Zealand wool growers in London was put to the. Prime Minister by Air AlcLeod (Wairarapa) in the House of Representatives this afternpon. Air. AlcLeod recalled that some twelve or fourteen days aco a meeting of wool growers decided that certain appointments should he made, and mentioned the names of ft number of gentlemen at present in London as being likely to fill the position. Recent developments appeared to show that theie was some doubt about the amount of wool in store in England and here in New Zealand. In view of these circumstances lie would like to know from the Prime Minister 'vhether these people in London had he communicated with or whether any of them had replied accepting the aP Mr. nt Massey said that a cablegram had been sent, to England, hut so for lie had received no reply. | lu question had better be placed on the order paper and bv next Wednesday it might he possible to answer it definitely. He would then be able to communicate, with London an ascertain the exact position.—Special Correspondent.
