LEADER’S NARROW ESCAPE
(Received July IT 11.40 p.m ) V CHRISTIANIA. July 18. The newspaper- Afterteposton states that Captain Amundsen’s expedition passed two hard winters m the new land and they explored near Tsar Nicholas 11. Land. Captain Amundsen met with an accident,'falling from the ship to the ice, breaking an arm. He also had a narrow escape in a fight with a bear.- —A. and N.Z.C.A.
