Tlio ballot taken last week amongst the -members of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants to decide upon the acceptance or Ejection of the recent agreement reached! by the board set up to consider the claims of tlie First Division of the service closed on Saturday. lwo issues wore put to the voters m favor of accepting the agreement, and in favor of resuming the strike. The secretary Mr M. J. Mack, anticipates that it will he fully a week before all the ballot papers will bo received’, and that tlie result will not be available for at least a fortnight.
