THE JERGER TROUBLE.
UNWANTED PRIEST STILL IN AUSTRALIA.
(Received Julv IS, 5.5 p.m.) , SYDNEY, July 17. The Nestor sailed without Jerger. No attempt was made to place him aboard as the crew decided to leave the vessel if Father Jerger came aboard. He was removed .to the police barracks as it is believed the authorities intend to send Father Jerger to Western Australia for deportation. Another writ of habeas corpus against the military commandant was secured for his production on Monday.—U.P.A.
