WEDDING

BARBER—HANSEN

The wedding took place on Wednesday last; at Holy Trinity Cluiirch. of Miss Rose Hansen, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs C. Hansen, of 10S Russell Street, to Mr William Edward Barber, eldest son of Mrs Barber. Waerenga-n-hika. The Rev. H. Packe conducted the service. The church was filled .with interested spectators and friends of the bridal party. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, by whom she was subsequently given away, looked charming in a beautiful frock of ivory crepe-de-chino with pearl trimmings. The bride also wore a handsome veil arranged in mob-cap style with wreath of orange blossom, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of roses and carnations and asparagus fern with white tulle streamers. She was attended by three bridesmaids, Misses Annie and Katie Barber, sisters of the bridegroom, and Miss Lena Hansen, sister of the bride. The clnet bridesmaid. Miss Annie Barber, was attired in a pretty frock of blue silk with bodice and sleeves of blue georgette, and wore a black tulle hat trimmed with bine georgette Miss Katie Barber wore a pretty frock ot pale pink crepc-de-cliine trimmed with beads and finished with a pretty belt of tulle, and a pretty hat. of black tulle, finished with blue trimmings Miss Lena Hansen, sister of the bride wore a very pretty frock of white silk ti nnmed with velvet streamers ancFptotty hat of black tulle finished with bine trimmings. All carried nice bouquets. The bridegroom was attended by ms brother, Mr Albert Barber, a. ~ man.
