FOOD SHORTAGE IN AUSTRIA.
GERMAN GOVERNMENT TO SEND SUPPLIES.
(Received Dec. 1, 8.5 p.m.) BERLIN, Nov. 27. The National Assembly requested the Government to reduce Germany’s own ration of flour in order to send supplies to Austria, especially to Vienna, to alleviate famine. The President,. Herr Ebert, in a message sent to Vienna, said that Germany was striving to send speedy and effective assistance, although, her own economic situation is difficult. —Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
