STATEMENT BY LODGE
SENATE WILL PASS TREATY WITH RESERVATIONS.
(Received Dec. 1, 10.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 27. The New York Times’ Boston correspondent states that Senator Lodge, in a statement, says that the Senate will pass the treaty with reservations. ‘ I have always advocated peace many, and a League of Nations, he said, "but I desire a victorious and honorable peace, and a League of Nations which does not sacrifice A™ 6" rica’s constitution or sovereignty.
